Keto Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Okay wow! You guys are going to love this, especially if you're trying to be low carb this Christmas


One thing about this drink that I love is how easy it is to make and It only has 5 ingredients! I find a lot of hot chocolates have so many processed ingredients, so this is a great substitute.


This hot chocolate is keto, vegan, paleo, Gf and DF!


This hot chocolate has me feeling ways this Holiday season and IT IS ONLY 1.5 NET CARBS!

One thing I should recommend would be to add some marshmallows hehe, but if you're keto, you can make my marshmallow foam on top.


The marshmallow foam is just coconut milk and Torani SF s'mores syrup!



Keto Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Prep Time: 10 min Cook Time : 40 min Total Time: 50 min Servings: 6-8

INGREDIENTS


for the hot chocolate

  1. 2 cups Dairy free milk (I use this one)

  2. 1 tsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder

  3. 1/2 tsp peppermint extract

  4. 1 tbsp monk fruit or sugar free syrup (I used this one)

for the "marshmallow" foam

  1. 1/2 cup coconut milk

  2. 1/2 tbsp Torani SF S'mores Syrup (you can buy it here)


INSTRUCTIONS


for hot chocolate

  1. Froth together hot chocolate ingredients, then pour into mug

  2. Froth together foam ingredients then pour on top of hot chocolate

  3. See notes if you do not have a milk frothier


NOTES

  1. All nutritional factors will vary based off of ingredients used.

  2. If you do not have a milk frothier, you can heat milk in saucepan!

  3. Also feel free to add any toppings you would like!
