Air Fryer Chicken Fingies (Paleo & Keto)

I am a sucker for a good ol' crispy chicken fingers and this recipe satisfies allll my cravings! This recipe is great for a lazy afternoon and keeps ya full for hours!


This recipe is Paleo, Whole30, GF, Df & Keto

I love using my air fryer to make them extra crispy but you can totally bake these in the oven!


One of the great things about this chicken finger recipe is that you can add any flavour you want in the flour to customize them! I love adding in primal kitchen buffalo seasoning (buy it here)


Also if you're like me and love a good ranch & buffalo mix, I highly recommend this buffalo sauce and this ranch dressing for the optimal dip!


Paleo Chicken Fingies


Prep Time: 10 min Cooling Time : 20 min Total Time: 30 min Servings: 1


for the chicken fingies

  1. 1 7 oz Chicken Breast

  2. 1 Egg, for egg wash

for the flour mixture

  1. 1/4 cup Almond Flour

  2. 2 tbsp GF Panko bread crumbs (optional)

  3. 1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast

  4. 1 tsp Garlic salt

  5. 1 tsp Dried parsley

  6. 1 tsp Dried dill

  7. 1 tsp Onion powder

  8. Pinch of Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS


For the Chicken Fingies (Air Fryer)

  1. In a medium sized bowl, prepare flour mixture and set aside

  2. In a small bowl whisk 1 egg

  3. Slice the chicken breast into tenders

  4. Once chicken is sliced dip into egg wash, then flour mixture and set aside. Repeat until all chicken tenders are breaded

  5. Preheat air fryer to 400° F

  6. Spray air fryer basket with coconut oil or avocado oil and place tenders in basket (make sure they are not touching each other)

  7. Cook at 400°F for 6 min then flip and cook for another 6 min

  8. Pick your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy!


For the Chicken Fingies (Oven)

  1. Preheat Oven to 375° F

  2. In a medium sized bowl, prepare flour mixture and set aside

  3. In a small bowl whisk 1 egg

  4. Slice the chicken breast into tenders

  5. Once chicken is sliced dip into egg wash, then flour mixture and set aside. Repeat until all chicken tenders are breaded

  6. Place chicken tenders on a baking pan with parchment and cook for 10 min in preheated oven, then flip and cook for another 10

  7. Broil tenders for 1-3 minutes

  8. Check temperature of chicken tenders and make sure internal temperature is 165° F

  9. Pick your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy!
